With very humble beginnings, BLR Architects was started out of the home of Bret Richter in June of 2000 after the birth of his fourth child Olivia.  A  spare bedroom of the Richter household was turned into an office and BLR Architects was born.  After a year in the family home, another space was bought and business grew rapidly.  More employees were needed as was yet a bigger space.  BLR Architects moved into the building at 1709 E. Ogden in March of 2003 where it currently resides. Business has continually grown.
